Reminder: Parent-Teacher conferences are tonight from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  We hope to see all your parents here for conferences!


ATTN: All 10th and 11th grade students are invited to take a proficiency test during Wednesday, October 14 - Friday, October 16, or Wednesday, October 21 at 7:00 am (ideal for students with a 1st hour) or at 7:45 am on the track at Kelsey Field. These are the only dates and times the test will be offered. Students must pass the test to be exempt from PE for 2027-2028. Please sign up for the test by Tuesday, October 13, using a link found in your school email titled 2027-2028 Physical Education Proficiency Test sent on September 2, 2026.  Students are to meet in the Student Commons on the day of their test.

Don't worry, we're here to help!

Join us for Financial Aid Night on Tuesday, October 13th at 7:00 PM in the PAC.

Representatives from Rock Valley College’s Financial Aid Office and the Illinois Student Assistance Commission will be here to provide valuable information about financial aid, FAFSA, scholarships, grants, and other ways to help make college a little more affordable.

They’ll also be available to answer your questions.  Come learn how to make your college dreams a little less expensive and your parents a little less stressed!


The Hononegah Rugby Team kicks off against Taft High School this Sunday, October 11th at 1 PM on Kelsey Field. Come out and support our Hono Ruggers!

Looking for a place to connect, meet new people, and grow in your faith? Come check out Grace on Campus! Grace on Campus is a welcoming space to build community, explore Scripture and grow together. Meetings are every Tuesday morning at 8:05 in room 2000. We’d love to see you there!

Example:     The town council proposed several remedies to address the growing traffic congestion downtown.

There is no school on Friday, October 9th, and Monday, October 12th.


Expectations in the lunchroom:

  • No budging in the lunch lines. Please wait your turn and stay in line.

  • Taking items without paying is considered stealing and is against our lunchroom rules. Students who are seen doing this will be subject to disciplinary consequences.

  • If you are not getting food, please do not stand in the lunch line or hold a place for someone else.

Please be respectful to our lunchroom staff and to the students around you. We all share responsibility for keeping the lunchroom a positive, respectful place for everyone.

Students, please get on your bus immediately after school. Buses leave at 3:25.
