It’s Picture Day!!  School pictures for the yearbook will be taken in PE, Health, and Driver’s Ed today. If you do not have one of these classes, you may get your picture taken during your lunch period. Students must be photographed to appear in the yearbook.  VIP will send out an email with proofs and order information in a couple of weeks.

Have a favorite book with a cover that you love?  Want to make that book even more special?  Then come to the library after school on Friday, September 25th for our book bedazzling program!  Bring your own book, and we will provide all bedazzling materials.  All students and faculty members are welcome to attend!  See Mrs. Blum in the library with any questions. 

Show your school spirit next week by dressing up for Homecoming Spirit Week! Monday is Google Meet Monday. Wear formal or business attire on top and informal or casualwear on the bottom. Tuesday is Blue Day. Dress in all blue or as your favorite blue character. On Wednesday, Dress for the Wrong Occasion! Thursday is Class Color Day. Freshman wear orange, sophomores wear green, juniors wear blue, and seniors wear pink. This is the perfect day to wear your Powder Puff shirts! On Friday, show your school spirit by wearing your best purple and gold. As always, please make sure all clothing is school appropriate. 

In-person ticket sales for the Homecoming Dance take place Monday through Friday next week before school and during lunch hours. If you're bringing a guest, you must turn in your guest form by the end of the day tomorrow, September 25th. All guest tickets must be purchased in person.

Got something you want to show off??? Sign up for the Homecoming Talent Show taking place on Tuesday, 9/29 at 6:00 pm. Singer, dancer, instrumentalist, stand-up comic, hardcore RC car driver, Bob Ross impressionist, you name it, we want to see it!!  Club Announcements:

This week in Cinematic, we are watching a club favorite. It's the story of a struggling salesman who takes custody of his son as he's poised to begin a life-changing professional career. Come to room 1434 at 3:30 this Friday to see Pursuit of Happyness. It's a great film. Food and friends will be there. 

Chess Club is hosting its next tournament this Friday in the library from 3:30-5:00. By popular demand, this tournament will be a bughouse partner chess tournament. Bughouse is a popular variant of chess where two partners play together against an opposing team. The partners work together adding captured pieces to each other's bank while working towards checkmate. We'll match up partners that day, so feel free to bring your friends or just show up. See you then! 

The Paranormal Investigators Club will meet this Friday, 9/25/26, at 3:30 in the Upper AP.   Feel free to drop your backpacks in room 2419, and then head to the meeting.   Spiritwear orders are due by October 1, 2026.   Any questions see Ms. Z

Expectations in the lunchroom:

• There is no budging in the lunch lines. Please wait your turn and stay in line.

• Taking items without paying is considered stealing and is against our lunchroom rules. Students who are seen doing this will be subject to disciplinary consequences.

• If you are not getting food, please do not stand in the lunch line or hold a place for someone else.

Please be respectful to our lunchroom staff and to the students around you. We all share responsibility for keeping the lunchroom a positive, respectful place for everyone.

Students, please get on your bus immediately after school. Buses leave at 3:25.
