The admirable American for this week is a California engineer, programmer, entrepreneur, and patron of the arts. In 1994, Taiwanese-American Jerry Yang co-founded YAHOO! As a pioneering internet tycoon Yang amassed a personal fortune of 1.2 billion dollars. He has since donated millions to supporting museum displays of Asian art.

Your Junior class is happy to announce that our Tides of Elegance themed Prom will be held on April 25th at Tebala Events Center. The dance will be from 7-10 pm with doors opening at 7:00. Ticket prices for Hononegah Juniors and Seniors is $40, guest tickets and underclassmen guests are $50.
Prom tickets will be sold before and after school in the PAC today and during lunch hours. If you are interested in purchasing tickets online, you can use the QR code on our posters around the school. Guest tickets must be purchased in person.
Do you like to be outdoors? Do you like sports? Do you like volunteering? Please consider volunteering for the Special Olympic Spring Games held on May 2nd,2026 at Harlem High School. Posters with the QR code can be found in the cafeteria and by the Principal's Office. Great for individuals or clubs looking for volunteer hours.
