The Math Team competed in the Illinois Math League this year, consisting of 6 monthly contests.  Results were tallied together for a final cumulative score.  For Hononegah, Rohan Paladugu placed 1st, Raylee Bohnert placed 2nd, and Kaelynn Bohnert placed 3rd.  Rohan was also one of the top 50 students in Illinois.  Congratulations!


Senior Sunrise is on Friday, May 1st.  Seniors, please check your emails to RSVP, sign up for a donut, and request specific songs for the event.


The ballot for Prom King and Queen is live! Juniors can vote by following the link sent by Mr. Lee. Voting ends Thursday at midnight, so don't wait!


Your Junior class is happy to announce that our Tides of Elegance themed Prom will be held on April 25th at Tebala Events Center. The dance will be from 7-10 pm with doors opening at 7:00. Ticket prices for Hononegah Juniors and Seniors is $40, guest tickets and underclassmen guests are $50. Prom tickets will be sold before and after school in the PAC lobby every day this week and during lunch hours on Tuesday and Thursday. If you are interested in purchasing tickets online, you can use the QR code on our posters around the school.

Do you like to be outdoors? Do you like sports? Do you like volunteering? Please consider volunteering for the Special Olympic Spring Games held on May 2nd,2026 at Harlem High School. Posters with the QR code can be found in the cafeteria and by the Principal's Office. Great for individuals or clubs looking for volunteer hours.

This is a reminder that DoorDash, GrubHub or any other delivery services are not allowed throughout the school day.  If you get something delivered, it will be confiscated and you will not get it.  Thanks!

Attention all artists - Come to Art Club on Thursday, 4/23 at 8:15 in room 1439 to continue work on our Artists IDs!


Anime and Manga Club will meet after school today in the library.  All are welcome and bring a friend!  Please bring your money and permission form for the field trip to Anderson Gardens and Hachi Sushi if you would like to attend.


Are you interested in seeing original films made by your peers? Look no further than Cinematics' Student Film Showcase. Submit your own films of any genre, length or style to Mrs. Robinson via email. Film submissions are accepted through Wednesday, April 22nd and the showcase will premiere Thursday, April 23rd at 3:30 in the PAC. Don't forget to bring a friend!
