The Math Team competed in the ICTM State contest down at Illinois State University this weekend. Looking at their results coming out of Regionals, the team raised their ranking in every event competed at State! The team finished 35th overall, an impressive finish with only 3 of 10 possible event teams represented. Special shout-out to Rohan Paladugu for finishing 35th individually in Algebra 1 and Ian Schmidt for finishing 39th individually in Precalculus. Ian also holds the distinction of being one of the few seniors in the entire state of Illinois to qualify and compete at ICTM State all 4 years of high school. Congratulations to the Math Team as they wrap up their season, and good luck to all our graduating seniors in their future math pursuits!
