In Two-Thousand-One, on 9-11, Pakistani-American Salman Hamdani rushed to aid people in the collapsing twin towers, and died in the effort. New York City honors his sacrifice now featuring a street named Salman Hamdani Way.
Class of 2026: Don't miss out! The Senior Class trip will be on April 8 at Main Event and Woodfield Mall. Forms are due today in the Principal's office. Get a Senior shirt that you can wear on the trip, too!
Your ACT tip of the week is all about timing. Your budget for each question on the ACT is as follows:
English - after reading the short or long essays you have 30 seconds per question
Math - you have 66 seconds per problem
Reading - after reading the passages, you have 50 seconds per question
Science - you have 1 minute per question
Writing - you have 40 minutes to read the prompt, prewrite, and write your response
All questions in each section count the same, so don't spend too much time on any single question. You have enough time to consider your options, however, mark, bookmark, and move on if you feel like you're spending too much time on one question. You can always come back to it if you have time at the end of the section.
If you missed the football meeting on Thursday morning and would still like information, please stop by room #2001 and see Coach Zim, prior to the break.
Seniors: Graduation caps and gowns may be picked up in the Principal’s office.
