Attention all Juniors: Please remember to bring your fully charged Chromebook to US History class today. You will need your device to participate in and take notes during the Junior Presentations with the School Counselor.  


Students and staff, are you ready for a funny and emotional musical take on a classic story? Come to the Spring production of Freaky Friday, based on the 1972 novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films. Performances will be on Friday, March 13 at 7:00 pm, Saturday, March 14th at 7:00 pm, and Sunday, March 15th at 2:00 pm. Adult tickets are $10.00 each and student tickets are $8.00 each. Tickets can be purchased on the Hononegah Ticketor Website or with cash during lunch on Wednesday, March 11th or Thursday, March 12th. Tickets can also be purchased via cash or check after school Tuesday (3/10) through Friday (3/13) or in-person at the door!


There is still time to sign up to donate blood at the Student Council-hosted Blood Drive on Friday, March 13th. You can sign up using the link sent by Mr. Lee or register in person today during lunch hours. Stop by room 2300 if you're sixteen and need a parental consent form. 



Seniors:  Senior trip money and permission slips are due by Wednesday, March 18, in the Principal's office. Slips are in Parent Square and in the Principal's office.  Senior class shirts are also available for purchase using the same form. 



Attention Class of 2026! Did you know there is currently $46,750 in local scholarship dollars just waiting to be claimed? Our amazing local donors and community organizations are ready to invest in your future—you just have to apply!

Whether your next chapter involves a four-year university, a two-year college, or a specialized trade school, there is likely a scholarship with your name on it. Head over to the SSS page on the Hononegah website.  Check out the full list of scholarships, specific criteria, and those all-important deadlines.  Don't leave money on the table!


Club Announcements:

Congratulations to Asher Boelk for winning Chess Club's March Blitz Tournament! Noah Stewart, Ian Schmidt, and Zach Isaacs all won three out of four games to tie for second place. Join Chess Club for a Bughouse Tournament in April. See you then!


Key Club will meet Thursday to hold elections for e-board positions for next year. If you are interested in running, please make sure you have prepared a brief overview as to why you’d be the right fit for the position. 


Anime and Manga club will meet after school today in the library.  Please bring money for your tshirt order if you ordered a tshirt.  All are welcome; bring a friend!  


We will be holding a quick meeting today for Trap athletes interested in the competition season and the state tournament.  We will meet at 3:20 in room 1402.  Remember, you cannot participate in the State or National tournaments unless you also participate in the competition season.


Calling all artists! Come to Art Club in art room 1439 on Thursday, March 12 at 8:15 am to begin our new spring creative endeavor artwork and pass the journal!
