Tomorrow is our 6th late start day of the year for Hononegah Community High School. The building will be open to first-hour students only at 8:40 AM and will be open to all students at 9:20 AM.  First hour begins at 9:00, and the second hour begins at 9:45. There is no before-school tutoring on late-start days.  Early Bird bus routes will pick students up exactly 1 hour and 10 minutes later than usual. Regular bus routes will pick students up exactly 55 minutes later than usual.

Congratulations to the winner of the library's February guessing game contest.  Chase Statler guessed the exact number of candy hearts at 654. Chase, come to the library for your prize!  Make sure to stop by the library this month for the March guessing game.


Excited for March Madness?  Like making brackets?  Love to read?  Then the library's Book Madness contest is for you!  Stop by the library for a QR code for the first round of voting on sixteen popular books this week and to make your own bracket.  Voting on the books will be done every week until spring break, and conclude with the final showdown between two books the first week of April.  The students with the closest brackets when Book Madness is concluded will win a prize from the library.  Good luck!

Class of 2026:  Join your class on the senior trip to the Chicago burbs on April 8.  Forms are due March 18 and are available in Parent Square and in the Principal's office. Get a Senior shirt that you can wear on the trip too!


Club Announcements:

Bass Fishing Club our next meeting is Friday, March 6th at 8:00am in room 1436.  In the meeting we will share the information about the Spring fishing, fish count and the leaderboard.  If you can't make the meeting, please check in and get information from coaches Bowman or Bohn.  See you next Friday. 


There will be a Renaissance Club meeting on Wednesday, March 4th,  from 7:30-7:50 and then again from 8:15-8:40 in room 2114.  Everyone is welcome and there will be donuts!  Please see or email Mrs. Beaulieu with any questions.



Participants of the Paranormal Investigators Club will need to sign up for their club t-shirt and bring the money to Ms. Z between March 3 and March 6, 2026 in room 2419.  See Ms. Z if you have any questions.
