The Admirable American for this week is a Latino American public policy analyst. Born in California to immigrant parents from Mexico, Antonio Gonzalez graduated college with a degree in US History and a passion for voter registration. Gonzalez was honored by Time magazine for his voter education project. He continued public policy work heading the Velazquez Institute where he expanded the agenda to include climate change and urban greening hosting a Latino Summit on the Environment.

If you are interested in joining Girls Track, please register through SNAP. Make sure you have a current physical on file before the first day of practice.  The first day of practice for Girls Track will be Tuesday, January 20th at 3:30 PM in the field house. The Math Team is hosting the 24th Annual Hononegah Math Invitational next Saturday, January 24.  Students will have the opportunity to compete in individual, small-team, and large-team events.  Questions?  See Captain Ian Schmidt or any Math Team member.  Students interested in competing can sign up with Ms. Regan in Room 2110.
