The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Hononegah! The book fair is a great opportunity to do some holiday shopping or to treat yourself to a new book! The book fair will be in the library from 8 am to 4 pm from December 8th through December 12, and all staff and students are welcome to come check it out. See you there!
Did you read the adorable figure skating romance book, Every Reason We Shouldn't? Don't forget to join us in the library after school on Friday for a book talk with the author, Sara Fujimura! See Mrs. Blum in the library with any questions.
Club Announcements:
This Friday at 3:30 in room 1434, Cinematics is celebrating the holidays. We are watching a classic Christmas childhood scare with the film Gremlins. Bring your friends. Food will be there.
The Young Progressives will meet Tuesday, December 9th, in Room 2425 at 7:35 am with Trivia, candy canes, and a Grand Prize of Kamala Harris' 107 Days Book. See you there!
The Bass Fishing Team will meet this Friday, December 5th, in room 1436 at 8:00. Your bass fishing jerseys are in! We will also talk about the bass fishing shows we want to attend.
Join Chess Club for their 1st semester championship tournament on Friday in the library from 3:30-5:00. Please join the Hononegah Trap Shooting Team at Beef-A-Roo in Roscoe on Tuesday, December 9th. Twenty percent of all sales from dine-in and take-out orders will be donated directly to our club. Thanks, and we hope to see everyone there!
Juniors and seniors who are applying for NHS, your application materials are due this Friday at 3:30 pm in the principal's office. Make sure you've completed the required information, including parent signatures. When you turn in your application materials, you will receive a numbered, signed receipt. Missing school on Friday will NOT afford you more time to complete it. NO applications will be accepted later than Friday at 3:30 pm, so turn it in early to avoid missing the deadline. Questions can be directed to Dr. Asbury.
