Crimestoppers offers a $50 cash reward for any information regarding students in possession of weapons, drugs or alcohol while on school grounds. You can report tips anonymously to SRO Harrison,an Administration or a teacher. All tips will remain confidential. If you see something, say something!

The first Student Council meeting of the year is this Friday at 8am in the PAC. If you can't make it, please attend the makeup meeting in Mr. Lee's room, 2300, at 3:20pm.
The classes of 2027, 2028, and 2029 could use your help! We're looking for additional students to represent the Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors on this year's Student Council. Petitions to join can be picked up in Mr. Lee's room, 2300. All petitions, including those picked up by freshmen at their first day activity fair, are due Wednesday, August 27, so act soon! Reach out to Mr. Lee with any questions.
Hononegah's Key Club will meet Thursday (8/21) at 7:30 in the upper AP room for 1st hour students and at 8:00 for students without a first hour. If you are looking to volunteer in your school and community, please come see what we're all about. All are welcome.
Hono Theatre is looking for talented and driven theatre artists to join the company, including crew for lighting, sound, scenic, props, costumes, run crew, dramaturgy, and much more! Inspired by the Hasbro board game and set against the backdrop of 1950s McCarthyism, this hysterical murder mystery will have you asking "whodunnit" from beginning to end! Come to room 2414 after school on Friday, August 22nd, for a rugby informational meeting if you are interested in joining the team this year. Coach Fleege will be available to answer questions, talk about the sport, and lead you through the paperwork. Practices start Tuesday August 26th!

Fun Fact: During World War II, a Syrian brown bear named Wojtek was officially enlisted as a soldier in the Polish army. He served with the 22nd Artillery Supply Company and became a symbol of camaraderie and bravery, even carrying ammunition during the Battle of Monte Cassino. Wojtek was eventually promoted to the rank of corporal.
