Attention: Juniors

We will be offering the optional digital PSAT/NMSQT to interested juniors during the morning on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Please refer to the Google Form sent to your email on August 15 to sign up. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, August 28, 2025. Please don't wait to sign up.

Crimestoppers offers a $50 cash reward for any information regarding students in possession of weapons, drugs or alcohol while on school grounds. You can report tips anonymously to SRO Harrison,an Administration or a teacher. All tips will remain confidential. If you see something, say something!

Club Announcements:

The first Student Council meeting of the year is this Friday at 8am in the PAC. If you can't make it, please attend the makeup meeting in Mr. Lee's room, 2300, at 3:20pm.

The classes of 2027, 2028, and 2029 could use your help! We're looking for additional students to represent the Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors on this year's Student Council. Petitions to join can be picked up in Mr. Lee's room, 2300. All petitions, including those picked up by freshmen at their first day activity fair, are due Wednesday, August 27, so act soon! Reach out to Mr. Lee with any questions.

Hononegah's Key Club will meet Thursday (8/21) at 7:30 in the upper AP room for 1st hour students and at 8:00 for students without a first hour.  If you are looking to volunteer in your school and community, please come see what we're all about.  All are welcome. 

The Hononegah Trap Shooting team will be meeting today, to discuss the upcoming season.  Any individual who is interested in joining the Club should attend.  The meeting will be in Room 1402 at 3:20 PM.  It should only take about 20 minutes.  If you cannot attend, please see Mr. Kelly in Room 1402 for additional information.

The Math Team will have their kick-off meeting today at 8:15 AM in Room 2110.  Please RSVP in Google Classroom (join code: dcbvjhl).  The first practice will be Tuesday, September 2 from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM.  Questions? - see Ms. Regan.

Hono Theatre is looking for talented and driven theatre artists to join the company, including crew for lighting, sound, scenic, props, costumes, run crew, dramaturgy, and much more! Inspired by the Hasbro board game and set against the backdrop of 1950s McCarthyism, this hysterical murder mystery will have you asking "whodunnit" from beginning to end! Come to room 2414 after school on Friday, August 22nd, for a rugby informational meeting if you are interested in joining the team this year. Coach Fleege will be available to answer questions, talk about the sport, and lead you through the paperwork.  Practices start Tuesday August 26th!

Chess Club will meet this Friday (and every Friday) in the library at 8 am for chess games. See you then!

Calling all current AND wannabe future stagehands! Stagehands Club, Hononegah's Technical Theater club, will be having our meeting after school at 3:30pm TODAY in the choir room. As a reminder, this year our club is now meeting on the third Wednesday of each month, so plan accordingly!
